KeePass is a powerful OpenSource password-safe. It has become one of my "must-have" programs. There are ports for various platforms (including mobile, like Windows Mobile).

I wrote a small plugin LockExtensions which adds three more ways of locking the workspace (currently open password file):

  1. Lock after a specific user-inactivity time (resolution in minutes)
  2. Lock on standby/hibernate
  3. Lock when pressing a global hotkey

I would love to have the lock global hotkey for version 2. Do you plan to do that? Thank you for your work.

Hi Mike,

Currently not unfortunately. I still use KP1 and I won't have time in the near future to port the plugins. That's current state. Sorry!

I see, that's unfortunate. I guess I might go back to KP1 just like you :).
